Eligibility Criteria & Uttarakhand Domicile Norms
Criteria for participation in Uttarakhand AYUSH State Quota and All India Quota seats:
- Qualifying Examination: Must have qualified NEET(UG)-2026 with minimum 50th percentile (UR/EWS), 40th percentile (SC/ST/OBC), or 45th percentile (PwD).
- Age Limit: Must have completed minimum 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2026.
- Academic Requirement: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects with minimum 50% marks in PCB (40% for reserved categories).
- Domicile Norms: 85% State Quota seats in both Government and Private AYUSH colleges require Uttarakhand permanent domicile or completion of 10th and 12th schooling from Uttarakhand. Non-domicile candidates from any Indian state are eligible for Management / AIQ seats in private colleges.
Domicile, category and seat eligibility
Before adding a Uttarakhand preference, identify which seat pool you are applying to. A college can have more than one admission route, and the conditions may differ.
- Find the quota and category labels in the official seat matrix.
- Read the matching residence, schooling, institutional or service conditions in the bulletin.
- Check the issuing authority, validity period and format for each claimed certificate.
- Confirm whether an outside-state candidate can apply to that specific seat pool.
Do not assume a fixed reservation percentage or a universal “open state” rule. If a certificate is pending, follow the stated deficiency or correction process rather than assuming it can be submitted after allotment.
Your application, step by step
- Identify your seat route. Match NEET UG session, course, quota and authority. Open the portal from the authority’s own notice.
- Prepare the file set. Use legible scans in the specified size/format and names matching your certificates.
- Register and pay. Save the application number, submitted form and successful payment receipt; a bank debit alone may not confirm submission.
- Resolve deficiencies. Check verification status, correction notices and the eligible-candidate list.
- Order your preferences. Compare recognition, course, clinical exposure, total fees and location. Save the locked choice list.
- Read the allotment instructions. Complete acceptance, fees and physical/online reporting exactly as directed.
- Keep proof of joining. Collect the admission acknowledgement and read the next-round rule before opting for an upgrade or exit.

Compare colleges and courses
Shortlist by the course you want to study, then compare government/private ownership, location, clinical exposure, the total cost and the actual seat category. Do not rank a college only by its name or an unofficial intake total.
Use the current college-wise matrix and relevant permissions. A college appearing in an older list does not confirm that all its seats are available in this round.
For earlier cutoffs, match course, quota, category, round, session and rank type. The NEET qualifying cutoff is different from the last admitted candidate’s closing rank.

Official Information Bulletin guidelines for Uttarakhand AYUSH admissions across rounds:
- First Round Counselling: Only registered NEET(UG)-2026 qualified candidates who deposit the ₹2,000 fee can fill choices. Allotment is purely merit-cum-preference based. Allotted candidates must print the official allotment letter and report physically to the allotted college.
- Second Round Upgradation Eligibility: Divided into three designated candidate groups:
- Group-I: Registered candidates who were not allotted any seat in Round 1.
- Group-II: Candidates who reported and joined the allotted institute in Round 1 and desire Round 2 seat upgradation (no additional registration fee).
- Group-III: Fresh candidates registering for the first time in Round 2 upon payment of ₹2,000.
- Third Round (Mop-Up / Spot Allotment): Conducted in physical / offline mode. Eligible candidates (unallotted in R1/R2 or fresh registrants) must physically appear before the Central Counselling Board at Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Dehradun campus with original documents and fee demand draft for on-the-spot seat allotment.

Mandatory Documents Checklist for Verification
Original certificates and two sets of self-attested photocopies required during admission verification:
- 5 Coloured Passport Size Photographs (Identical to NEET-UG application photo).
- High School (10th) Certificate & Marksheet for Date of Birth verification.
- Intermediate (10+2) Certificate & Detailed Marksheet.
- NEET(UG)-2026 Admit Card & Score Card showing All India Rank and Percentile.
- Uttarakhand Permanent Residence / Domicile Certificate issued by authorized SDM/Tehsildar.
- Category / Sub-category Certificate: SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PwD / Defence / Freedom Fighter wards certificate in the official state format. OBC certificate must be valid for the current fiscal year.
- Character Certificate issued by the Principal of the institution last attended.

No. Treat AACCC and the relevant state or institution as separate application routes. Check whether you need separate registration, payment and document verification for the seats you want.
Does this guide confirm that all AYUSH courses are available here?
No. Verify each course and college in the current official matrix. A state page also helps students explore central or nomination routes where a local option is not confirmed.
Can an outside-state candidate apply?
Check the exact quota and category in the Uttarakhand notice. Do not infer eligibility from the college being private or from a general “open state” description.
Are the reference fees and cutoffs current?
Reference notes are dated background material. Use the applicable session’s official fee order and round result. A previous closing rank does not guarantee an allotment.
What should I save after choice locking?
