NEET-UG 2026 Minimum Qualifying Marks for Punjab AYUSH

In accordance with NCISM/NCH regulations and Punjab Government notifications, candidates must secure minimum qualifying percentiles and cutoff scores in NEET(UG)-2026 to be eligible for registration:

Eligibility Criteria & Punjab Resident / Domicile Status

Admissions to 85% State Quota seats are strictly reserved for bonafide residents of Punjab, subject to statutory criteria:

• Academic Qualification: Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as individual subjects with minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for SC/BC, 45% for PwD).
• Punjab Resident Norms: Candidate must have completed 10+1 and 10+2 education from a recognized school/college situated in the State of Punjab. Candidates whose parents are Punjab Government employees, Defence personnel, or All India Service officers posted in Punjab are exempt from the study condition.
• 15% Private All India Quota (AIQ): 15% seats in private un-aided Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic colleges are open to candidates across India based purely on NEET(UG)-2026 merit, regardless of domicile.

Candidates must enter the exact 2-digit reservation category code in the online application form as per the official prospectus:

Your application, step by step

1. Identify your seat route. Match NEET UG session, course, quota and authority. Open the portal from the authority’s own notice.
2. Prepare the file set. Use legible scans in the specified size/format and names matching your certificates.
3. Register and pay. Save the application number, submitted form and successful payment receipt; a bank debit alone may not confirm submission.
4. Resolve deficiencies. Check verification status, correction notices and the eligible-candidate list.
5. Order your preferences. Compare recognition, course, clinical exposure, total fees and location. Save the locked choice list.
6. Read the allotment instructions. Complete acceptance, fees and physical/online reporting exactly as directed.
7. Keep proof of joining. Collect the admission acknowledgement and read the next-round rule before opting for an upgrade or exit.

Compare colleges and courses

Shortlist by the course you want to study, then compare government/private ownership, location, clinical exposure, the total cost and the actual seat category. Do not rank a college only by its name or an unofficial intake total.

Use the current college-wise matrix and relevant permissions. A college appearing in an older list does not confirm that all its seats are available in this round.

For earlier cutoffs, match course, quota, category, round, session and rank type. The NEET qualifying cutoff is different from the last admitted candidate’s closing rank.

Information Booklet 2026: Multi-Round Admission Rules & Regulations

The 115-page official BAMS/BHMS Prospectus 2026 defines clear operational guidelines for seat allotment, upgradation, and fee forfeiture:

1. Compulsory Choice Locking: Candidates must submit and lock their college preferences online before 25.09.2026 (5:00 PM). Unlocked choices may not be processed by the allotment software.
2. Mandatory Physical Reporting & Fee Deposition: Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must report physically to the allotted college on or before 01.10.2026 along with original documents and a Demand Draft of the prescribed tuition fee drawn in favour of "Registrar, Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Punjab" payable at Hoshiarpur. Failure to report within the prescribed timeline leads to automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.
3. Round 2 Upgradation Rules: Candidates who have reported and secured admission in Round 1 can opt for willingness to upgrade in Round 2 without paying any additional application fee. If higher choices are allotted in Round 2, the Round 1 seat is automatically surrendered and allotted to the next candidate. If no seat is upgraded, the candidate retains their Round 1 seat.
4. Security Deposit Advance: All candidates admitted to BAMS/BHMS/BUMS courses must deposit a refundable security advance of ₹25,000. This amount is refunded upon completion of the course or adjusted against exit penalties if surrendered after prescribed cut-off dates.

12-Point Mandatory Document Checklist for Physical Verification

Originals and two sets of self-attested photocopies must be produced during physical reporting at the allotted college:

1. Compulsory Annexure-I: Certificate from Principal / Head of Institution last attended.
2. NEET(UG)-2026 Admit Card & Score Card showing All India Rank.
3. Matriculation (10th) Certificate & Marksheet as official proof of Date of Birth and Parentage.
4. Senior Secondary (10+2) Detailed Marks Card and Passing Certificate.
5. Punjab Resident / Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
6. Category Certificate: SC / BC / EWS / PwD / Sports / Defence certificate on state-approved format.
7. Character Certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
8. Migration Certificate from the Board / University.
9. Gap Year Affidavit: Required if candidate has a gap between 10+2 and admission session.
10. 8 Recent Passport-Size Photographs: Identical to the photograph affixed on NEET application.
