The Directorate of AYUSH, Madhya Pradesh conducts AYUSH undergraduate admissions through two separate portals on MP Online. Candidates must carefully select the correct portal based on their quota eligibility:

For 85% Government AYUSH seats and 85% Private College seats. MP Domicile is mandatory for Govt colleges and given first priority in private institutions.

Domicile, category and seat eligibility
Before adding a Madhya Pradesh preference, identify which seat pool you are applying to. A college can have more than one admission route, and the conditions may differ.
- Find the quota and category labels in the official seat matrix.
- Read the matching residence, schooling, institutional or service conditions in the bulletin.
- Check the issuing authority, validity period and format for each claimed certificate.
- Confirm whether an outside-state candidate can apply to that specific seat pool.
Do not assume a fixed reservation percentage or a universal “open state” rule. If a certificate is pending, follow the stated deficiency or correction process rather than assuming it can be submitted after allotment.
Your application, step by step
- Identify your seat route. Match NEET UG session, course, quota and authority. Open the portal from the authority’s own notice.
- Prepare the file set. Use legible scans in the specified size/format and names matching your certificates.
- Register and pay. Save the application number, submitted form and successful payment receipt; a bank debit alone may not confirm submission.
- Resolve deficiencies. Check verification status, correction notices and the eligible-candidate list.
- Order your preferences. Compare recognition, course, clinical exposure, total fees and location. Save the locked choice list.
- Read the allotment instructions. Complete acceptance, fees and physical/online reporting exactly as directed.
- Keep proof of joining. Collect the admission acknowledgement and read the next-round rule before opting for an upgrade or exit.

Shortlist by the course you want to study, then compare government/private ownership, location, clinical exposure, the total cost and the actual seat category. Do not rank a college only by its name or an unofficial intake total.
Use the current college-wise matrix and relevant permissions. A college appearing in an older list does not confirm that all its seats are available in this round.
For earlier cutoffs, match course, quota, category, round, session and rank type. The NEET qualifying cutoff is different from the last admitted candidate’s closing rank.

Complete MP AYUSH Pravesh Niyam 2026: Round Rules & Regulations
Extracted directly from the official Madhya Pradesh Gazette Notification (Rule 16 & allied sections) governing BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS admissions:
1️⃣ Round 1 Rules (First Round Counselling)
- Eligibility: All registered candidates whose documents are physically verified at the designated nodal centers are eligible for choice filling.
- Mandatory Choice Locking: Candidates must submit and lock choices online. Without choice locking, no allotment can be generated.
- Two Allotment Options: Upon seat allotment, candidates have two official pathways:
- Option A (Satisfied): Accept the allotted seat, report physically to the institution with original certificates + 2 self-attested sets, execute the seat leaving bond (for Govt colleges), pay college tuition fees, and finalize admission. (Candidates who do not opt for upgradation cannot participate in subsequent rounds).
- Option B (Opt for Upgradation): Complete admission formalities at the allotted college while formally marking "Willingness for Upgradation to Round 2" to compete for higher college choices.
- Free Exit Policy: If an allotted candidate chooses not to report or join the college in Round 1, their allotted seat is cancelled and carried forward, but the candidate remains eligible to participate in Round 2 without penalty or forfeiture of security deposit.
2️⃣ Round 2 Rules (Second Round Counselling)
- Who Can Participate: Unallotted candidates from Round 1, candidates admitted in Round 1 who opted for Upgradation, verified candidates who did not get a seat, and newly registered/verified candidates (if registration is opened).
- Fresh Choice Filling Mandatory: All candidates wishing to participate in Round 2 must perform fresh choice filling and locking. Choices submitted in Round 1 are completely void.
- Upgradation Mechanics: If a candidate gets upgraded to a higher preference college, their previous Round 1 seat is automatically and instantaneously cancelled and allotted to the next eligible student in the merit queue. The candidate must collect original documents from the previous college and report to the newly allotted college.
- Retention of Seat: If the candidate is not upgraded, their Round 1 admitted seat remains safely preserved.
- Resignation Rules: Candidates resigning within the permitted official window will have fees refunded as per the schedule, subject to deduction of administrative charges.
3️⃣ Mop-Up Round (Round 3) & Seat Conversion Formula (Rule 5.9)
Fresh choice filling is mandatory for all participating candidates. As per Gazette Rule 5.9, if eligible reserved category candidates are unavailable for vacant seats during subsequent rounds, seats are converted strictly according to this statutory sequence:

4️⃣ Stray Vacancy Round & Strict Prohibition on Offline College Admissions
- Portal-Based Online Merit: The Stray Vacancy Round is conducted strictly through the MP Online AYUSH portal merit list. Candidates already admitted in Round 1, Round 2, or Mop-Up are strictly barred.
- All Stray Seats are Unreserved: Residual vacant seats in the Stray Vacancy Round are treated under the Unreserved (Open) category.
- Zero Offline / Direct Admissions (Rule 11 & Rule 20): Any admission conducted offline or directly by any college administration (Government or Private) outside the MP Online portal is completely illegal, void, and unrecognized. Disciplinary and penal actions under Section 28 of the NCISM Act 2020 / NCH Act 2020 are enforced against violating colleges.
Candidates admitted to Autonomous Government Colleges must furnish a ₹2 Lakh Seat Leaving Bond. If a candidate leaves mid-way or vacates the seat after final allotment, this penalty is recovered.
Candidates holding an admitted seat via Central AACCC AIQ or other states are strictly ineligible to participate in the 85% MP State Quota counselling.
NEET is not mandatory for BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences). Admission is granted on 10+2 PCB marks (50% UR, 40% reserved). NEET is compulsory for BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS.
